Another weekend drifts by, and I'm a lot closer the finishing now.
Firstly, for all those against the look of copper pipe..
I've fitted the Nismo clutch slave now, but I had a few problems bleeding it, so I binned the clutch seperator thing. Look how simple it is now..
We made a new bit of COPPER pipe up, altered and re-located the flexi bracket and bingo, job done. I made bleeding much easier..
The single throttle is now done, which is a great relief. Ever though the head is 40mm higher up, the hardpipe still fits ok. We added a bit onto the throttle cable and tweeked the throttle cable clamp bracket. I'll pop up those photos soon. Here is the TB on the plenum
It looks a lot more like a complete engine now..
Now the vacuum pipes can come off the plenum and so does the MAP sensor. I've screwed that into the bottom out of sight..
All the dump valves and pipe work have been removed. I'm going for 2 Greddy pressure relief valves instead. These should ensure no boost is lost during gear changes. I need to mount them as close to the side of the TB as possable, so I think they will have to go into the last piece of hardpipe.
These is where the DV's were
And here is the Greddy pressure relief valves.
Tomorrow will be the exhaust final fitting and hopefully, the oil catch tank.
