Rev Limiter is messed

I just got my skyline and to my dissapointment when it was delivered to me i found that some things were missing like the shift know, boost gauge and Super Airflow Converter. i sealed the vacuum line that went to the boost gauge but the line that connected to the airflow converter was cut. it took me a while to get the engine running and now that it runs it will not rev past about 2800rpm. i am trying to reset the computer by leaving the battery unhooked for about 14 hours but i dont know if this will work does anyone have any ideas just in cas the reset doesnt work??

Send a message via MSN to R32 Combat
The 2800rpm rev limit will be because the AFM's arn't plugged it properly.
