Looks awesome, I like the black details offsetting the white bodywork. I can see why white was the most popular colour on R33s, really suits the lines. Shame white is now considered a 'bogo spec' colour

Nice one, love the side on shot from low down.

Am I the only once wincing at the dust / stones though! I must have become a clean underside fetishist!

But good to see it being used

Guess there was never rocks there before (so they said)? The little bit of "derby" did not damage the car at all and we GOT the shots. Just need to detail more when she gets cleaned up again!

DRIVE IT LIKE YOU STOLE IT.... hahaha

Just 15 years :-)

Thanks, had her repainted from MP I to MP II back in 2013. Talk about a PITA to find that color formula.

Haha it means 'bog standard spec' (in the UK at least!). White tends to be the cheapest option on new cars, so people often choose it when they are a little strapped for cash and want the fewest options possible. As such it has a bit of a bad reputation as a colour, which sucks really as on some cars it looks so good. I was really tempted by a white R33 myself but in the end I decided I should stick to my long-term lust for a midnight purple one

Right on, thanks bra! Is it true (do yo know) that the V-spec Nismo edition mostly came in white, because mine is? The be all end all for me is the purple, next is the charcoal and white was the least of all of colors for me, but can always paint or wrap it if need be. Tell you the truth, this is my 1st white car and is really growing on me!

Only Nismo version of the R33 was the 400R

Yours will be a normal V-Spec, they were available in all the colours for the GTR at the time

So having the nismo front end and gauges and whatever else nismo that was OEM, still not a nismo? Confusing to me all the different GTR versions! Not to mention all the GTT & GTS versions too, ya?

lol no mate, the gauges were parts you could buy and add to your Skyline, a previous owner will have fitted them at some point

Nismo gauges etc were just options or aftermarket parts. I've got them on mine too.

QM1 white was the most popular R33 colour, there is a table somewhere of all the models and colours and how many were sold of each. Give me a sec I will find it for you

GTR-Registry.com - EN-BCNR33-Colours

I'd keep it white if I were you, there is a reason it was the most popular colour . Spend the cash on go-faster bits instead.

AWESOME, thanks bra for the link!! I will take performance over paint any day, but mine was re-painted in a backyard or something, really rough. Eventually, it will be done, not a priority at all as are the few leaks that will be fixed soon. But again, the white is growing on me!

TONS of aftermarket Nismo stuff for sure, and easily to put on after production. Guess I am just curious if (from the factory) it came with all the nismo goodies initially?

Appreciate all your input!
