Llandow, one of the best UK tracks imo.

Good video, Harris knows his onions.

good video, enjoyed watching it and he knows the car, and can also drive it well.

Still kicking ass ten years on! and that's stock, he should drive a stage 4+! Where the real fun is.

Thanks for this. Some of the reviews from the US have mentioned the softer suspension makes the car roll more on the track and give it slightly more understeer. I'll trade that for a better ride and less cabin noise.

Nice. And I'm fortunate to say that I regularly drive the roads featured in that opening sequence - it's just south of Bristol.

Great review.

Nice to see the car has still got it. Also interesting that he prefers the softer suspension on and off track.

Nice to see the R35 getting the appreciation it deserves as the years go by.

Lot's of people wrote it off as a 0-60 party trick when it came out, it's a real testimony to what it was back in 2007 that it can still rumble with the best of them today.

Chris Harris is a great auto journalist. Would far prefer to watch him on top gear than Jeremy Clarkson. Harris is still about the cars, rather than Twatting around in the me me me show.

Good review, thanks for posting.

Just makes you realise what a tall order Nissan have in designing the R36.

Make a note of the index number people. It'll come up one careful lady owner soon

Chris is great! Though I don't know where the surprise in the car's longevity comes from. The R34 GT-R is still on my lust list.

Cool

good video, the guy can certainly drive well, but the gtr does have good manners when driven by someone who knows what they are doing. plus it does make a difference when you are driving it like you stole it because the bills are being paid by someone else. that said how good does the gtr look with the tail hanging out on full opposite lock.

Nice review. I was trying to see if all 3 switches were in R mode, I couldn't make out any red lights but I assume they were, in which case the awesome sound he refers to was coming through the ASE, did he actually know that I wonder? As said before, it is a very good sound, the only thing that really gives it away is that it's too consistent.

I just got my new GTR yesterday and went for a drive in the countryside.

It's a beautiful car with amazing handling and agility. And it is very comfortable as a daily Driver. I am feeling very blessed to have it.

Chris nailed it (except this new one does not feel 'old' at all. It feels refreshingly new). Nissan have understated how good it really is compared to previous ones from what I can see in my humble opinion

and its way older than 8 years old. the tech and design of this car is from 2004/5 IIRC and the 1st cars launched in 2007.

so in reality its more like 12-13years old and yet it still can mix it up with the best and its road presence is still fantastic.
for me, still the best performance car on the road for the money
