Result of the running in map....
290 at the hubs at 5250 rpm on 1.1 bar ( waste gate pressure) on a very conservative map apparently ![]()

so as I said I've not seen a dyno chart yet (not sure if I will get one for the running in map) and the only figures I have had at the hib figures, but I thought it would be interesting to compare anyway.
these are the charts for when it was last mapped, this is the same turbo, ECU and injectors but with a standard engine, cams, HG and intake (still fmic but a different one) at the wheels ![]() at the fly ![]() so to me that looks around 275/280 at 5250 at the wheels, so I am around 40ish hp up already?

All efforts get rewarded at some point mate.
Mine needs a good overhaul, but i just dont have the money or the time. I'd love to throw my car at someone and say there you go, do that to how i want it, but it's not going to happen so looks like i will have to be patient and do it bit by bit. Need a run around first.

so it is home now, had an interesting drive home the new suspension and poly bushing throughout is somewhat less than forgiving! And considering the amount of sound deading I put in it I am suprised at the amount of road noise!
the exhaust ( a veilside one) is much quieter than the daily driver, not sure if I like that or not tbh... Engine feels strong, though I am not supposed to be using any boost yet and am limited to 4k rpm. The clutch is a bit brutal, but IIRC this takes a few weeks to settle down, the LSD is taking a little getting used to, makes reversing a bit tickier and you can really feel it at low speeds as it hops and jumps a lot. overall very happy with it, got a few jobs still to do, need to get the damage to the side fixed and I am changing the interior. The new HU is on order (Kenwood KDCBT61U) from Car Audio Direct and I have the amps ready to go in. I also need to rewire the gauges with a new power feed. then I just need to do another 800 odd miles and get it re-mapped! Simon

So covered about 380 or so miles now, clutch is bedding in nicely and it pulls well
![]() Stripping the interior tomorrow and refitting a full gtr one and fitting the new HU and amps. Mapping in a couple of weeks with luck.

Most of the interior changed today, just one door card left to do. Got a quote on the body repair, doing a bit of an exchange, going to teach the guy how to repair GRP body kits for extra discount on the repair. So that is going in at the end of the week
Also got all the gauges hooked up properly now - Andy was not impressed with my electrical skills and had disconnected and taped everything off!!

pics of the damage mentioned earlier
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Collected the car from the paint shop today and it has been fixed and is looking fabulous again, just need to wait for my front grill to be finished along with the rear 1/4s, tomorrow I plan to convert the SSQV from BOV to recirc, finish swapping the interior and fit some bolt on spacers to the rear hubs. Also booked it in with Abbey for the final map on the 20th ![]() Simon

pics of the repair
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() got the rest of the interior swapped over today and gave it a good clean inside and out - feels like a new car! Also got the converter fitted to the ssqv and routed some hose back over toward the intake, just need to work out how I am going to connect it in.
