Hks or what ???

Hi

I've just bought a turbo, and the seller claimed that it was a HKS 2530turbo, but i've got my doubts and just wanted to know if you know anything about this turbo !
There's garret logo on , and three different numbers as follows :
fk0214j
g17200-n48020
713255-93

Hope you can help me

If these were the ones for sale on ebay I dont believe they are HKS. The reason being HKS 2530's have HKS clearly cast into the front face of the compressor housing. Email me if you want some pictures of HKS 2530;s as proof.

I believe you may have bought the Garrett 2860R equilavent. I'll check the numbers tomorrow.

Not all 2530's have HKS cast into them, the older ones were only badged as Garrett.

Give the ID tag details to someone like www.gcg.com.au and they will be able to tell you definately what it is.
