My Nürburgring weekend :-)

I have at the Nürburgring over this weekend, have seen some friends from the MLR,but only one skylineowner,i spoke the him for a short time, looks like he had fun too.

Driving was fun as ever, this is for sure the best track in the world, have been there with my Evo 6,car worked fine, didn´t make problems so i have to say,it was a great weekend,me and my girlfriend enjoyed every second

Here are some pics from the carpark

Me driving to the ring:

My car from the outside:

He was only there to show the car

Skyline from UK

And again:

My Makinen having a small cooling down befor the next turn, beside it is a Evo 6 Extreme from a UK-mate(hello Andrew)

Car from a friend:

RichW from the MLR,some of you may know him.

It was too hot to drive,so we talked most of the time

A friend from Richard, doesn´t he look happy

Will search for some actionpics over the day :-)

Sadly yes,had a spun conrod bearing,so gave the engine a rebuild and hope to get the crank back from the regrind,so i can put the engine back together, did change few things, wider tires(285/30/18),JIC FLT2A suspension, garret N1 turbos, turboelbows etc..........

Happy when it runs again

285/30/18 <--- damn that's a fat one for the R34 Must grip as hell + the AWD. Post up some pics with your new rims once your car is running again. As far I know of you got one of the best looking R34 GTR so far on this site

Thanks mate,
i think there is much more to do till it is one of the best 34 GTR´s on here, but i do my best,i like it quite a lot with the new look, ill post up some pics when its running again

There have been 265/35/18 on it befor, but the 10.5x18 Rays are to wide for the small tires ,so i chose bigger ones.

I saw this Evo outside the PistenK on saturday night, sounded great! I have it on film somewhere tearing through the fox hole Yours was pouring fire out the back under trailing throttle too!

I was in the little red wide arch MX5 with mabey 110bhp (still managed to overtake the Italian Evo and the silver one with black wheels and cut slicks )

You might have seen my friends black R33 GTS which he was breaking in, but he did very few laps as its suffering from a spot of boost leak!

Hi Alex,

We are travelling to the 'Ring on the Sunday morning. We should get there about 1300....ish.

There should be at least 5 Skylines.

See you there.

Spun bearing...yikes, sorry to hear that! Any idea what the cause was? How many miles? Was it hard to find someone to do the work in Germany?

Hope to see ya at the Ring!

My own stupidness causes it,did rev the engine in the revlimiter in 4th gear and did take to long to shift, after that the engine sounds toktoktoktok

I did it myself,i have my own workshop ,so why not rebuild my own engine.

btw,its running since 10 minutes now,tomorrow is the first testdrive(running in )
