What is GT2540 limitations towards boost

Trying to find out as much as possible about the GT2540 and now stuck on
how much could you efficently run the turbo at?

Tried to read a few compressor maps for the GT2540 + done a few searches
on the forum but can's say I'm any wiser

Now running low boost at 1,1bar (for cruising) and 1,4bar (street/track).
Looking to see what the teoretical max boost pressure can be on these tubbies can do while not blowing up.
1,4bar looks like to be a very safe boost pressure on the GT2540, so to get
some more umph I'm looking at 1,6 or at best 1,8 if possible.

I'm full aware of the boost pressure is limited also on other components in the
vehicle so it's not like I'm going to turn up the boost pressure and hope everything will be alright.

All will be mapped and adjusted on rolling road if boost pressure can be safely
raised.

I'd say you wouldn't want to be running more than 1.8bar, on an RB26 @ 7500 rpm your close to the surge line at that pressure.

@ 1.4 I think your in the maxium efficeny island for the 2540.
