4wd problem

I have 4wd light to turns on once in a while. I have a code 18. I've checked the connectors to the pressure switch and they are all clean. I've done all the continuity checks and the harness tests all fine.

Do I just have a bad ETS hydraulic unit? How much do these run? Anything else I should check?

If there is an abs fault or even low fluid it can bring that light up as abs and 4wd activate the same light.

Hey there

i have exactly the same fault on mine..........my specialist assures me that it's the valve acting up, not earthing or any other intermittent thing. About £200 to replace with a secondhand unit. If you can find one of course. I bet it does it more when it rains!!..........and if you do a lot of short journeys in one day...........that's normally what triggers mine off.

OK in the dry, not much fun in the wet though!!!

Hope that helps.

RR.
