Painting

Hi just a quick one, I'm rebuilding my engine etc, and i wanted to no what paint people use for there plug cover and cam cover etc,mine was painted but needs doing again,also were can you purchase the paint, I'm just not sure if you need heat resistant etc,also any tips on spraying cheers.

this is what i've done with my engine bay & engine bits

remove all parts that are going to be painted
remove all grease with detergent or likewise (make certain all grease is removed or the paint will flake off)
rub back with 240grit wet & dry paper (making sure u get every scratch out)
spray with primer/filler
rub back with 600grit wet & dry
spray first coat of preferred colour
gently rub back with 800grit wet & dry
apply another 3-4 coat of colour
leave a little bit of colour in spray gun and mix with clear coat
spray this clear coat & colour on, let dry
spray ~5 coats of clear on
your done

you dont need heat proof paint, just make sure you take your time in the prep work etc
