Have a look at this pic, it shows the what`s inside the CAS.
The big slots / gaps are for each sylinder = 6slots
The tiny tiny tiny slots are for crank position = 360slots.
Do you se how small size the crank slots are? dont have to be a astronaut to figure out how small of cambelt flex is needed for wrong timing
