As far as i know, it is not possible to cure this.
You could tighten up the cambelt so much that it has no play at all, but the risk of damage to the tensioner would be to big of a risk.

Could maybe get away with it on a dragcar... but no way on a road car. Tensioner would make nois, and bearing inside would be destroyd after a short while...
