Mongoose Exhaust - GT-R Register - Official Nissan Skyline and GTR Owners Club forum

Does anyone have any views on the Mongoose Exhaust System (Downpipes and Cat Back System) for a Skyline R33?

How does it compare with the HKS Super Drager or Trust MX setup (Down Pipes & CAT Back system) re:

1. Performance
2. Noise
3. Quality

The price appears to be very good - £522 including VAT for Downpipes and Cat Back system - and comments from drivers of other models and marques are very favourable. I've searched all the posts on this forum but can not find any comments on how good it is for the Skyline.

Don't know about skyline version, but my opinion of other mongoose exhausts is that they are not all that good. Noisy & poor quality.

That reflects my personal opinion and I take all resposibility for it so you can't sue gtr.co.uk or it's owners. so nerr.

Guy had one fitted to his 33. Not sure if it's still on Durzel's car or not.....?

The mongoose on my GTI-R is great. With the decat that that i've also had fitted, my car has a pretty authentic rally sound.

No idea what their skyline exhausts are like.
