Yeah, they aint bad. I think if they came out before the arctic monkeys then they would have had more of the limelight. Im watching em in Manchester on the 27th and from what i've been told they are really good live.

they are on the virge of being alot bigger than the arctic monkeys! i am sure you will be seing these up there with the kooks and fratellis ect in the not so distant future.

how did you get tickets? they sold out in 20mins for the sheff gig

It was one of my mates, he went into Manchester for them. Think the face value on them is 7-8 quid Glad I didn't have to go on fleabay for em and get robbed. Im glad im getting the chance to see them in a small venue before they get too big, should be a great night!

I'm afraid Milburn are one of those bands record companies sign because they sound like a band another company is making shed loads out of. Every genre of music has them by the truck load. They just don't have the lyrical ability or anarchy of the Arctics or the live tension of Franz Ferdinand

Prediction - They will be dropped after the first album flops

sean have you listend to any of their tracks on myspace link above? what do you think?
i can see what your saying and i think they will do well if they can make itto the next lavel.(where arctic monkeys are now)

nismo400r..small gigs are the best mate for bands like these.they will put on a good show for sure
i got my tickets for £25 and the face value £9!!! it will be worth it though

I've listened to a fair bit by Milburn - Its just too late in the music industry cycle for them, they've missed the boat. The Arctics will make it if their next album is any good and Franz are well established on the festival circuit, the rest are toast. New year - new fashion. Ain't the music business cruel

if thats the case im glad i live where i live and get to go to see these live..they wont go out of fashion in sheffield thats for sure
