ive got the car now, bought it in december last year,
since then ive fitted a massive thicker cored alloy rad with electric fans coz the standard one lost a fight with a stone,
head gasket has just given up im just praying it hasnt took the head with it, boost seems to be about 1.4 bar now so that probly didnt help.
is the head standard does anybody know?
but other than that,
shes still a minter

According to Rob at RIPS you don't need a metal head gasket to run more boost, just decent mapping

well, dived in a bit deeper, and found it had done a ringland yet again on no.6, head has been skimmed and is ok
now shes got yet another set of pistons in her, have ordered a load of new bits from abbey motorsport, anyone know of a decent oil filter relocation setup?, i got a oil cooler already in there, i just wnat to get rid of some of the pipework under the plenum, in the meantime, lots of sanding and polishing the ally bits to mirrors, very nice
