Owned my r43 gtr vspec for about a year now and lm really unhappy with the gearbox. Its fine when cold but when it heats up it has a progressive whining noise and keeps on jumping out of second. Didnt crunch in the beginning but has now a few times. Want to rebuld the box but nobody wants t touch it locally. Gearboxman - home. he has said he can do it but he might have to source the parts from other gearboxes. ( nissan do not provide parts for gearbox) Im abit unsure and was wondering if anyone has had the same problems with the 6 speed getrag and has anyone heard of the gearboxman. please could somone advise and point me in the right direction. thanxs
