Crazy weird stuff, I have found to be grounds. Just happened to me. We had a code 75 on the Attesa. TPS code, TPS changed, TPS checked. Wiring. ECU check, ATTESA ECU checked/changed. Checked voltage at ATTESA - correct.
Ended up being the ground wire on the alternator being loose. Just a little loose. Not falling off loose.
On the R34 race car, we had a code for a wheel speed sensor, and it was a missing ground, that when we swapped harnesses, we forgot to hook up. The weird part was it worked for a whole race, and couple of practice sessions before it stopped working.
The Motec ADL dash, none of the sensors worked until we grounded the dash direct to the battery. Anywhere but direct picked up too much noise......
Did I mention grounds and weird issues ?
