The turbo was about 3mm higher up than the bottom of the bonnet reinforcing bits.
Now it clears nicely.

Hi Andy;
put mine in yesterday, the bonnet rib running lengthways down the centre contacts at the highest point of the cam/sparkplug/timing belt covers about the same place as the white mark forward of the oil filler cap in the photo. you only seem to have cut the bonnet to acommodate the turbo, did you find contact with the covers also?
