this isn't the drag strip
on the street people anticipate the start, if the other guy feels like you jumped the start too much, they have the option of sitting right there to abort the run. However, if you chase, it's a race. Watch closely, I got jumped a few times too, it's not perfect, different flaggers move their hands in different ways and it's hard to tell when to go sometimes. I didn't intentially take off to early.
