TACHO install help

Can someone tell me which wire to splice to connect the autometer monster tacho, Live, earth illumination is sorted. just the pick up, i knoe it goes to the coil but which colour wire?????

WHOA bringing this back from the dead!!!!

Same question but im using a standalone version of vPro. I tapped into the little loop in the connector just before the ignitor but not getting anything. correct wires are snipped and electrically the gage is working just not getting an RPM.

Could you not hook it up to pin 7 on the ecu (tacho engine rev signal), that's on an rb26dett ecu by the way.

Trying to verify that the Vpro ECU is the same as the stock ECU. pretty sure its not since you need an adapter harness that goes between the engine harness and vpro ECU
