I have to say that after following the recent RIPS threads i am very impressed with their work and their ability to manufacture bespoke pieces. The mtal work looks superb.....Cant wait to see the finished car.

sorry if this seems like a stupid question, but what purpose does the "fuel system" in the boot serve? (you've recently posted some pictures of it). It looks great!

more power means you need more fuel and to stop fuel surge under hard cornering and acelaration fueling is very inportant on high power cars if it runs dry engine isnt going to last long

This is exactly how my engine looked like when I bought mine 5 years ago. Same air filters, same color engine bay...everything.

Oh, and that turbo of yours...

It's actually cheap in relative terms paying in pounds and converting it to NZ Dollars............our dollars not worth much at the moment so you get great value for money.

Hi mate ,

Here are some pics from just before it went on the boat......

The Do-Luck light covers are gone and there are now Top Secret Vortex generators on the sides of the rear diffuser but sadly no pics of those at the mo!!!

I am also thinking about removing the custom wing stays and either going back to standard or maybe the Do-Luck low mount carbon ones????

There is HKS suspension to go on when it gets back to lower it and sort the ride out a little although it is pretty much a road car anyway.

Cheers Sparks

Keep the custom wing stays, looks much better than the stock ones tbh.

I'd say go with the Du-Luck low mounts they make the car looks so clean and sleek, perfect for a street car!

Update 5: Wednesday 30th May

No massive amount of pictures this time Rob and I are keeping some stuff a bit secret for the meantime

Rob was not happy with the finish on the anodised Turbosmart wastegate so he got on the phone and got them to custom make a black one....

Rob has also ordered some custom black Samco silicone pipe sleeves for the pipework which are being manufactured as I type this

Fabrication of all pipework is just about complete and the Turbo set up, Manifold and exhaust system are all underway. Rob et al have out done themselves this time and what they have designed is incredible. Have just got off msn messenger with Rob and I am a little bit in shock

Once everything is complete and installed I will post some pics. I am seriously impressed by the amount of work both physical and mental that has gone into this from the boys at R.I.P.S!!!!!I cannot wait to see and hear it running, not to mention drive it

Cheers for reading ,

Sparks
