what are prices of R34 GTR's in down under like?

say your wanting to get an R34 GTR and mod it,would it be cheaper to get one from down under and mod it there then send it to the UK?

I asked Rob @ RIPS this a while ago and he said they are about $70-85,000 nzd which works out about the same as they are here , £25k-30kish depending on age etc

The purchase price of a good stock one here is usually around nzd55-60k and up to nzd80k for one with alot of goodies, but I think once you paid your taxes your end it came out pretty much the same.

It would save the extra shipping to get one form here but isn't there some rules regarding importing a highly modified skyline to the UK if it hasn't been previously registered?

yes there are some rules,but i know someone that can deal with that without having to part with over £5k

Next Update .....

The engine has now been taken out and the head sent away with other bits..

Tomei Cams, Valves and Guides

..to be tidied, ported and polished etc

Rob is keeping me informed and checking every step of the way as to what the spec and the budget is and the next stage is getting everything together and into the car!!!!

Will update the thread as soon as stuff happens

750hp TO4z on the right, 1200+hp on the Left.........

Yep, there's one on a R.I.P.S RB30 and its on the way from us to the UK very shortly

2 x 48mm Pro Gates....

We don't go to the gym, we lift these......
