Just spent a very pleasant hour leafing through your build Sparks. I had forgotten just how nice your car is. I really hope I can get to see it this summer.

YouTube - RIPS R34 GTR RB30 Stealth bomber final idle

We have settled on final tune 560WHP, which is a 75% increase in power from when the car arrived with Rob. Torque came in at 1486Nm which in turn is a 79% increase over the baseline Rob took when the car arrived.

The car has been specifically set up for mid range rather than peak power as it is predominantly a road car.

YouTube - RIPS R34 GTR RB30 Stealth bomber 420wkw (560whp) 23psi

Here is the graph, the red lines show the baseline measurements.

In terms of the boost level, we only wanted to run 23psi but added 1psi extra earlier on right in the rpm range you would normally drive in.

The car will be run a bit more and then possibly off to the drag strip in a week or so, I will update again soon.

Thanks, as always, for reading,
What would be the correction factor for flywheel power? +15% ?

Just would like to compare to more dyno graphs that I have access to...

just read this whole thread from start to finish..what a breath of fresh air

Its so good to see a skyline tuning company that takes so much pride and enthusiasm in their work especially when they are based on the opposite side of the earth from where the customer is..inspirational

to Robbie Ward and all the Rips team..

Big respect to you sparks for taking your car to this level.I hope it gives you many thousands of insanely fast trouble free miles!

Mental Car

This is a build of dreams, fantastic to see so much care and attention to detail going into every part of it, pleasure to read! Looking forward to seeing this in the flesh this season, I’m sure you will be at many shows with it, make sure you post up which ones!

Thanks for the comments everyone, the car has been an absolute rock since it's return and has not missed a beat. Starts first time every time even when it has been sat for a couple of weeks!!!!

A couple of cosmetic changes here and there but other than that just regular checks etc and nothing needed whatsoever.

I am heading to TOTB and hope to meet people down there so pop over and say hello!

Cheers Sparks

ps I will put some more pics up soon!!

A quick update for the car, not alot has happened recently just a lot of enjoying the car and driving it around!

Absolutely faultless and I have not had a single problem, cannot ask for anymore than that.

A few little changes here and there...

These are now fitted...

Do-Luck Carbon rear wing stays, I love the way they shift the wing back and down and have been after a set for ages!

Hopefully catch you at TOTB!

Great to hear it hasn't skipped a beat since you got in it!

The Do-Luck wingstays look superb! Do you have a full rear shot?
