Simonh Simonh is back in a GTSt GTR Register User Join Date: May 2002 Location: Nottingham Cars owned: R33 GTR-S Posts: 3,930	Dumb rebuild questions Help required beofre I bottle it and send it off to be done!! Why I have I got 5 rings per piston? what is the recomended ring gap - the instructions say .004" per inch of bore so my 86.5mm bore is 3.406" which is a 0.0136" gap? do I gap the first and second rings? I am using eagle rods which have be balanced with the crank, I have piston weights of 404.8, 404.8, 404.2, 404.5, 404.3 and 404.2 any suggestions as to which order to run them in? any other advice/suggestions would be gratefully received!
