Yet More Pricing Info
Been looking on the net and came across the following:
http://www.speedsportlife.com/2007/0...cing-released/ The article details pricing of GTR based on "now AutoExpress finally know... There is also a link to AutoExpress article dated 26 March 07!!! In summary - Base spec £29k, Mid Spec £35k top spec £52k Given that the pricing i've been told for us in UK is £50-60K, my guess is we're gonna get top spec officially only. Thoughts anyone? |

i've always expected USD$70,000. the above prices in pounds is about right. the base model of USD$60,000 sounds about right, with the upper models priced about how it's been expected. seems realistic. the car has to cost some amount of money for christ's sake.

I agree with you.
Do you think the "Evo" version will be a two seater though? I have an article by Top Gear, where they interview the lead designer and he states it was important for the car to remain 2 + 2. Would they really make the "top" version two seater only? ![]() |

no. they wouldn't do that. not only is that against GT-R ethos as a GT car, it's just an unnecessary measure and would more than likely put potential buyers off. the lack of rear seats for a higher price will no go over well, especially here in the United States.

Especially if little ones are coming along, a two seater is just going to crash and burn before it even reaches conversation level. ![]() Last edited by otakki; 1st April 2007 at 11:23 PM. |

we can't rule that out i guess. but i'm not real hip on a 2-seater idea. i don't see that much happening for a true GT car. at least not in the USDM. i don't hold confidence that American buyers will go for rear seat delete unless we get a very limited made-to-order hard-core Nismo variant. i won't rule that out.
