You'll find that's not the record for a 2JZ or an RB26 on standard internals.

That doesn't really mean anything. And didn't the early MKIVs have a 5sp box?
My comment was simply alluding to the fact that you could achieve 550+bhp on a North American/UK Supra without upgrading the injectors, fuel pump or turbos. ~100bhp more than with an RB26. That's the only irrefutable fact of 2JZ vs RB26 comparison. The rest you could argue about until the sun dies.
