Why some of you even care, let him..

Secondly if you don't know that's how they do racing in America, it's pretty common..

If you don't like it, don't post

Hey don't get me wrong, I don't defend reckless street driving

Why must you race with the windows down?
Plus that Evo kept taking off before the guy
dropped his hands. On the track you would
have red lighted most of the time.

At least it was a pretty much deserted road.

But i'd NEVER race on a public road. The second you start trying to beat someone you start taking unecessary risks as it boils down to who has the least regard for safety.

we're at an abandoned industrial complex that would be closed on the weekends anyway. we were there for 4+ hours without any trouble from the police because nobody drives through there.

the title of the thread clearly states that it's about street racing, if you don't like street racing then why are you watching the video?

p.s.
I had the window down so you could hear the other car.

this isn't the drag strip on the street people anticipate the start, if the other guy feels like you jumped the start too much, they have the option of sitting right there to abort the run. However, if you chase, it's a race. Watch closely, I got jumped a few times too, it's not perfect, different flaggers move their hands in different ways and it's hard to tell when to go sometimes. I didn't intentially take off to early.

There isn't a rule on this forum about posting street racing videos.

so nobody in this thread has ever street raced? I think SOME of you are being hypocritical and very childish with the name calling. You would have thought I insulted your mother or something...sheesh. I'm all for having a healthy debate about street racing and I'm open minded, but if you're just going to resort to calling me a "twat" and other slurs like that then I'll bow out gracefully.

Unlike other forums, the GTROC & forum have a majority of "grown-up" members who have real jobs & hobbies, then instead of wanna be (street)-racer they'll go to a track day, which I'm sure everybody agrees is safer for both the driver & the public
I ain't an active member of the forum or even the club, but love this place as this is a great source of info about Skylines & stuff, you'll often find knowledgeable folks in here
Sorry to say that you are "polluting", if you know what I mean
Or maybe that's just a culture difference where you guys in the US where you think street racing is cool & the rest of the world think the opposite
Just out of curiosity (no honnest), how old are you & why don't you guys do track day & stuff?
