Man this is wrong.....Personally i wouldnt use those rods in my car unless i want to prove a point that counterfit goods are as good as the real deal.

cant see the big issue - they are more than likely made in the same factory as the tomei items along with many others no doubt.

I ordered a set of Eagle rods, they come stock with ARP 8740 bolts. I upgraded them to ARP2000 bolts, that why these rods came with ARP2000 bolts.

All jokes aside get them balanced if your worried, i'm sure they will be fine (rod bolts not sure)

Rob
These rods were finalised is USA, thats where the bolts are from.
Both the big end, and small end was honed, and bolts attached in usa.

I have checked and compared to other ARP2000 bolts, and trust me, they are the same.

Im going to have the weighed on tuesday. Will keep you updated on the result.

If it had a bend in it, it wouldn't fit on the jig to machine it.

Its just the camera angle.

The only way you paid $300 for genuine Tomei rods is if they are hot, and I really doubt that they are. Maybe it's just me, but if I were building my RB26, I wouldn't cheap out on internals.

The weight of each rod will tell you whether they are genuine Tomei or not.

My Tomei's were within 0.6 of a gram of each other, over the full set. Amazing quality control, or perhaps graded by weight.
