Exclamation R33 GTR Z-Tune Style Bonnet...

Hi guys

This was purchased for my R33 GTR, before it was stolen, from Gary @ Japsalon

I paid £500 for it, so I am looking to recoup what I paid for it

Completely brand new and ready to paint

Stupid question Faz, but is it actually vented or is it just moulded?

sure they are vented too to help hot air escape from the engine bay. Its made by Gary @ japsalon, thus quality is excellent

Do you need bonnet pins with this? Am assuming its also the GRP one and if so how does it handle the silly high temperatures off the turbo's without melting or distorting it? Am asking as I have a big single.

Not sold yet.
Got to work how to get something that big to Warrington!

Mate said drive down, fit it and hurl the old one in a headge.

Do you think its worth adding additional vents around the turbo and intake area?

If it helps a GTR bonnet will just fit in a Land Rover Discovery and also a Chrysler Voyager, I've seen it done twice now!

Hi there, sorry been very busy

Thanks Cardiff R33

You just cut the vents out, really easy

No need for pins, although with most aftermarket bonnets, prob be a good idea!

tpw- ill give you a buzz later today

Just how easy is it to cut out the vents? I thought it was vented. Plus is there room to fit mesh behind it?
