Finally a decent alloy refurbisher

just thought Id share this with the forum, I've been struggling to find a decent alloy wheel refurbisher in the North west. Half of them wouldnt do split rims or multipiece alloys or if they did I had to split them myself which i couldnt be a**ed doing. I got BBS Le Mans wheels..

Anyways took my wheels down to Wheel Repair Centre - Preston, Lancashire after someone lent me a set of wheels. Then did a very good job with friendly knowledgable service (nope i dont have shares or own any part of the company!) and certainly knew what they were on about in terms of polished rims, powder coating, laquer or no laquer and damage repair. Heres a before and after of the wheels the wheel shown had moderate scuffing to the rim and although not clear lots of bubbling and paint flaking off the spokes. One wheel had a 1-2cm chunk of rim missing but thats been sorted too:

Before

After: Painted Laqured rim and Anthracite powder coated center

Just thought people might find this useful

Very nice mate, and looks like you managed to find a decent company there.

I used a place in scotland called ACE wheel repair. They were very good and took a large dent out of my old Enkei's and powdercoated them white. It's good to know companies like these as i had a nightmare thinking that i would have to buy new wheels!!! Looks like they've done a good job on those rather nice BBS'

Wheel Repair Centre is an ideal, local northern company that's easily found just of the M6, junction 29 in Bamber Bridge
