Even if it ran 7'30", it would take away from the mystique surrounding the car. Even Bugatti ran the course and took their 7'40" time, showing it's not the fastest overall car in the world.
Ferrari always have a habbit of bottling out of serious competition when it comes to their road cars. They seem to be a bit scared that their superman image will be fractured. I think 7min30s would be more or less on the money for an Enzo but if they don't run it, they don't shatter owners delusions of a 7min15s lap.
