just one thing how are the cables connected ? hope this makes sense but I have a diagram that shows where all the wires are to come from eg ecu, speedometer etc.. to the mfd loom. However I was wondering how do you connect the mfd loom to the ecu etc!?!

eg the wires from the ecu that are to be linked to the mfd loom. Is it a case of snipping the wires into 2 or removing the insulation and putting a bullet crimp on it then conneting to the correct wire from the mfd loom. Or do you need to trace the wires from the ecu etc and disconnect what it goes to then attach to mfd loom!?!?

Sorry probably a dumb question but I havent done this before and am willing to give it a go will keep me out the pub this weekend or may even drive me to it depending on how it goes
