Question Parrot bluetooth compatibility

I'm looking at getting a Parrot bluetooth kit but wanted to ask whether anyone can tell me if it'd work with my current mobile - an Orange SPV M3100?

The Parrot kit is the 3400 LS-GPS Bluetooth Car Kit. It's a bluetooth hands-free kit as well as a GPS dongle. My phone (Orange SPV M3100) and I run Tomtom on it, using an external GPS dongle. Kinda makes sense to use the Parrot kit with the GPS built-in (the SPV can only handle one bluetooth connection anyway so I could either have the GPS dongle OR the Parrot hands-free kit connected).

Parrot's website lists compatibility as:

# Nokia Series 60 + Route 66 (Mobile 2005)
# Sony Ericsson P910i + Route 66 (Mobile 2006)
# HP iPAQ 6340 + ViaMichelin MapSonic 2.5
# HP iPAQ 5455 + Sony Ericsson S700i + Navigon 4.2
# HP iPAQ 5500 + Siemens S65 + Tom Tom Navigator 1

The Orange SPV phone is a little more obscure than the mainstream ones listed above so just wanted to ask if anyone could shed any light on it's compatibility?

Yes it will, i have the same phone, but you'll probably find that if your running other aplications on the phone, to the point where the memory gets low, the phone will drop its bluetooth connection. Its a fail safe feature on windows.

Thumbs up

Bloody good bits of kit them Jim.

We've had the colour screen one in the missus car for 18 months now, and I love it.

If there wasn't enough extra electronics and a loud din from the exhaust I'd probably put one in my car.
