typo then ? think i'll see if it's genuine. I "effin" hate scammers, only because i've been conned on flea bay to the tune of £1400

Last time that was on ebay I thought it was in N.London, now its in Liverpool.
Sellers got no feedback. I may be wrong, but it looks dodgey to me.

What scam dude..... I have just sent a cheque in the post to Lagos Nigeria. The tv was up for a grand but he said if I sent me a cheque for 3 he would send me 2 grand in cash back... that was six weeks ago and I cant get hold of him?

Yep its defo a scam and ebay has been informed as its owned by a mate of mine and yes it is located in North London.

Oh seen something similar offer by Pikeys in our local industrial estate, but didn't know it was happening on ebay. You pay £200 for a plasma then get a box. With what you think is a new and vacccum sealed bag containing telly.

Unfortunately when you open the sealed bag you find a telly with no insides.

Yep, I've seem them dirty pikeys at it too in my local industrial estate. And a few years ago a mate of mine got stung for a laptop in exactly the same scenario. It just goes to show, there's one born every minute.

Remember folks, if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is.

Was looking for a plasma tv on ebay a couple of years ago. This guy said he'd had one albeit he was abroad. I decided against it, until ebay sent me an e-mail saying he was safe and to use "western Union" in the end it turned out to be a spoof e-mail, I'd only been using ebay a week or so and was considered a "virgin".

Any police looked at me stupid and said "we'd get back to you" but no one ever did.

That's why I hate scammers, even now I'd like to get my hands on them !!
