6"x4" in the fronts? Although they are housed in pods so you might be able to fabricate your own to fit larger speakers. Rears are a different ball game (6.5"?)

I put 6.5" speakers in the front. remove the speaker pod, and you'll find a nice big hole. You'll need to cut a speaker mount from some wood, but after that, it's very straightforward.
For an audiophile, 4x6 just doesn't cut it up front. With the rumbling and general horrific noise conditions in a Skyline, you want as much up front as possible.
