You wont get any help/info off Holset as they are totally uninterested in the modified car or even petrol car world, they concentrate on diesels and all info they provide is related to them.

Also there are an incredible amount of different varieties of these turbos in general if you are getting one that was intended for an OE application, same as if you got a Garrett in the same way, so need to know what you looking at and talking about.

A GT40R comes between them too.

A GT40R is very similar in spool and power handling to a HX40 as long as you got the right version. Main advantage is they are efficient at mega high boost, unlike Garretts.
And the price, of course.
