Also - regarding the 30 odd for sale you mentioned - were any of the R35s being sold at a discount? Congrats on your purchase, hope you enjoy! Thanks. Aki

The best method is to figure out how the car measures speed and place a suitable converter between the dial and whatever it uses to measure the speed. On my old subaru it was a mechanical device from the gearbox, but I'm told the later subaru's use an electrical method. Either way I'm sure the device will be available in due course, as it is for every other jap import out there. |

Hi Guys,
Thanks for the kind words and apologise for delayed reply, been away with work. Re warranty etc, well. I understand it is a risk however - the car has been driven and checked over in Japan so that said it should run fine. Also, I only ever am able to drive the car a handful of times a year. Come 15 months, when the other tuners/garages are familiar then I really should have no worries regarding anything which needs doing to the car. I suspect even sooner as I'm sure the main garages and the likes of Abbey etc will be dealing with the R35 rather soon. If something major was to go wrong, then there is always the option of sending it back over and have that done. The car will be de limited when being prepped for registration so that should eliminate the problem of not being able to drive it hard. ![]() Re those that have PM'd me. I shall reply as soon as possible. Just got page'd to report back to LHR, ahh.. the joys of bizjet, ![]() |
