I'm not sure how helpful this is, but I decided I needed a car for towing my daughters horse and my track R32 GTR once it is finished and thought a Porsche Cayenne Turbo would be the answer.
As far as I could tell it had all the right credentials, it was fast and it was a 4 X 4 and by all accounts great engineering.
I saw the car I wanted online and bought it without actually having sat in or driven one.
Turns out that although it does what it says on the tin, I don’t enjoy driving it nearly as much as the M5 it replaced. The M5 is miles better in every aspect that can be satisfied by 2 wheel drive.
The moral of the story, which may seem very obvious to most, is take a test drive before you buy as there may be things that just don’t suit you.
Cheers
