not sure about getting one made up, try your local nissan, some are helpfull, other are not so!! if no luck you could always try one of the breakers like japanimportcar.com for a full set of locks and key if they have any, fairly big job i would imagine!

my car was delivered with one key from Japan. I had six additional keys made up on top of that straightaway - I'm someone who'd definitely lose the key if it were the only one, considering my shit luck.

We've used a mobile locksmith a few times, he came out and took a lock barrel out of the boot, made me up a pair of keys and all for around £75....that included him comming out to us . I think he's called 'Keys For Cars', i'm not sure if it's just a local or a national company but it's certainly worth a look and much easier and cheaper than new locks all round!

Send a message via MSN to rally-tec
the best thing for you to do is get any other nissan key try to get in the car with it open the doors, once inside take out either boot lock or drivers side door lock an take it to a locksmith which make you a replacement for around £25.. they will say that they cant guarntee it will work but 95% it does...

i asked a local locksmith and they don't do chipped ones. Anyone know anyone in the northwest and rough price?

Well, I just telephoned Middlehurst in st Helens for a price for a spare key cut.

They said it is around £170 (Oh that does include VAT)

I am taking the key to Bolton Master Lock and Safe in Westhoughton as they said they can do it but need to read the key before they can give me a price. It will be between £27 to £65
