Its not bigging up the tuner that gets on my nerves to be fair, lets face it if someone takes their car to a tuner and they do a stirling job, then its perfectly fair for that experience to be voiced on the forum.. I'm no longer a GTR owner, but when I was I used to take into account the comments of other members, its part of what the GTR forum does I guess.

That said, I take a pretty dim view of people who are constantly going on about certain garages, even if its nothing to do with their car, jumping in on other threads, "take it to so and so garage" where it comes to the point of not just voicing an opinion but plain 100% arse licking, where one must assume that there is some mutual "behind the scenes back scratching" going on.
Ultimately, if a tuner is doing a good job the comments will be aired and people will find out naturally, thats how certain big names which frequent here from time to time have gotten to the top - by doing a good job plain and simple.
I must admit that I haven't seen any fanboy behaviour from the top tuners or people closely affiliated with them, maybe thats why they're the best? because they spend more time in the workshop and less time spamming the forums..

This is quite entertaining, considering the nature of some of the previous posts..

All i know is you all carry on as if there is something wrong about praising the people you trust with your car i know one thing HI5 your a bit of a wanderer your self. I have read in between the post here and yea you dont like Newera but hell who gives a flying ****. They are the best thing that came out of Japan for selling parts. A great honest bunch of guys. I have had many many parts from them.

And my Tuner in the UK is the best. So as far as giving it the big i am. Stick your head back in.

If i want to praise who ever i want or who ever wants to its got nothing to do with you.

Sorry mods for this outburst but just sick to death of all this tuner and part's supplier thing.

If you get a good service tell everyone i say.

Newera are a trader on this forum and i will not be on here and have a bad word said against them.

I'm sure you're right but, like everything in life, less is more and sometimes a level of moderation is better than endless blathering. If I get Hi5 right it's not so much the general posts and promotion, it's more the turning every discussion into an opportunity to big up one company or another without actually giving due consideration to the original point of the thread.

Nothing wrong with that in my view. But there is an increased amount of hijacking going on as far as I can see

Fuggles.

I am not having a go what so ever here. But why does some one IE HI5 have a go at one of the most respected part suppliers in the UK and Japan and get away with it.

Now if i had done that i would of been banned. Its a total disgrace.

I recon HI5 should make a public apology to Newera.

If you want to big up some one then nothing wrong with that.

Then to have a go at fellow Skyline users well.

To be quite honest i am very surprised art the lot of you to let this carry on.

From a business point of view how would any other company like it!!

Disgrace i say., Dam right disgrace.

You wouldn't get away with it if you called my business H15. And that's a fact.

good luck Adam,
It is a good - if not great forum, but there are the few who click who have very loud opinions...
The thing is 'we' ignore them and get on with our shit on here, and mostly they are so stupid it is not on their radar.
See it, evaluate it, ignore it, no problem, we know the UK end of Nxx-xxxxx are shit, and people should get a feel for it, it would be nice to warn them but hey real life'n all that....
I'll stay as there are probably as many as 10 people around the world who post here that I like hearing from, and not just about cars...
Chin up,
Andy.
