Hi there, you’re looking at my 1997 Nissan Skyline R33 GTR in limited edition midnight purple. The Mileage is currently just under 57k. I spent a very long time looking for a R33 GTR of a good spec, after trawling through all the usual channels I decided to get one imported to the specification that I was after. The vehicle was sourced for me by Shin Inoue from a company called ProSpec Motorsport.
This vehicle's claim to fame is that it was built and owned by Mr Hirata in Japan who is famous for tuning cars for none other than Mr Nigatha at Top Secret.

reality that I have to face, but due to a new addition to the family, I am being forced (Yes you did read that right!) by the missus to sell up.
The car is in a remarkable condition for a vehicle of its age as I have pampered it from the day that I took ownership of it. The car has been looked after and serviced by Richard Bell at Rising Sun performance, which includes the changing of both engine oil/filter and gearbox oil.
I initially bought the car to use on the track for time attack events or general track days, but never actually got round to doing this. The car has spent most of it’s time being driven only in the summer seasons (which we don’t see much of here in London), the rest of the time it was tucked away in my driveway.
While In Japan the car was used and tested on the track (Tsukuba) I don’t have the actual lap times, but was told by Pro Spec that it has achieved sub 60 seconds, so would be ideal for someone looking for a professionally set up (in Japan) R33 GTR to enjoy on the weekends.
To be totally honest, as it stands, the car is in immaculate condition the engine note right from the beginning is that of a tight engine with considerable tuning. Idle is smooth, excellent oil pressure (5/cm2 at idle when cold). The clutch still feels new with plenty of progression, despite being uprated.
The boost is set at a conservative 1.25 bar which leaves the car producing from what I can tell around the 550 – 600 bhp mark. Brakes and handling are extremely sharp and drama free thanks to the amazing set up of the car.
This car is of an extremely high specification with the correct set up throughout, from the engine to the handling, you will not find one better, believe me, I tried looking. This car will only be appreciated by someone that knows what they are looking for in a Skyline just as I did when I bought it.
