2000 W Tme RS
Hi all,
Just testing the water really at the moment, but I am considering selling , swapping, PXing my Mak RS. one of the rarest evos around. Imported it myself back in May 06 as standard with RS options Super cross transmission (limits top end to 142mph i think) and front helical LSD It had 35250 (57,100 KM) on the clock when I bought it. it now has just over 41k miles. Never tracked or stripped or even dyno'd Spec: TEIN Super Street coilovers inc pillowballs and EDFC SPEC-R alloy Induction box inc Apex-i filter. SPEC-R alloy turbo to filter pipe SPEC-R alloy boost pipe from plenum ND uprated actuator set up at ND to 1.2 bar Blueflame 3" turbo back exhaust inc De-cat Ganador style Carbon Fibre mirrors Has currently got the standard 17" ENKEI TME wheels fitted but I also have a set of 19" OZ Superleggera in white (see pics) available Defi style Auto Gauges, Boost, Oil pressure and oil temp mounted in DIN plate in centre console. Currently has Alpine cd/mp3 head unit and Infinity Kappa components. Has Jap service history also and since I've owned it it has been serviced at ND. Serviced by ND at 35957. Had diff bolts replaced at the same time Serviced by ND at 39373. Had actuator and sandwich plate fitted. When I had the car SVA'd I had a TOAD CAT1 alarm immobiliser fitted and also got the car fitted with central locking at the same time so you don't have to fart about locking doors all the time!! Generally the bodywork is very tidy, looks awesome with a good wash and quick wax. Bad Points: Theres one pin dent in the drivers door. The front O/S wing has paint cracking in one small spot and theres a small crack in the rear arch, about 1" long. Interior is clean and tidy. I'm pretty sure it had some accident repair in Japan altho the repair is pretty good and it doesn't affect the drive of the car at all. The std dump valve is suspeted to be leaking and apparently the aux drive belt tensioner is seized. Not sure what its worth altho I was previously offered 12k so looking around that mark but am interested in doina swap for something else i.e skyline rx-7 that sorta thing. ![]() ![]() ![]() Before gauges and stereo ![]() |

cani ask something?
i have a TME , and yours looks nothingl ike mine inside etc, never heard of an "RS" version how many did they do? also fix those points and im sure yourl get what you want, it just shows that you cant be "arsed" fixing small things

Not sure how many have been produced but there are 5 official TME RS imported to the UK by Ralliart i think., called Monte Carlos. They did intend on doin 12 but for some reason stopped at 5. The differences between the Monte and the RS AFAIK are,
Recaro SR seats ECU Remap HKS Ind kit And obviously all Monte Carlo badging. Regarding the small fixes I know I should but I'm working away all week so don't really get the time. Can be easily sorted tho. |

Very nice car mate.
Shame too, one of my mates was looking for an RS everywhere but gave up trying in the end and bought a normal 6 TM in Dec....he's going to be gutted when I show him this. I was told they are quite hard to import now due to model report problems so pretty hard to find. The RS ones have the close ratio gearbo, better diffs and no AYC if I remember corrcetly ? Have a free Bump anyway ![]()
