Taction on r33 Gtr

I'm asked on the forum about traction seeming pretty terrible in my gtr and people have said it's not full on 4wd maybe my tyres are naff etc etc.
Anyway i have looked everywhere for a GTR that does the same as mine and have finally found one.
Is this right skyline R33 rwd take off without traction control - Video

Not sure - are you running lots of power too? Does your torque gauge show power being sent to the front?

I've got auto traction control at the moment; any emergency start action like that causes the clutch to slip, doh! Too much power for the poor thing.

Still able to spin the wheels when moving though if it's damp etc....

If you're wheelspinning all over the place then it definitely sounds like a problem with your 4WD.

I launched my R32 GTR at 5500rpm and it came off the line like a rabid greyhound. That's with 400bhp too.

With mine (650 HP) if i pop the clutch at 6500-7000 RPM, ill wheelspin all the way through 1st, grab 2nd and if im lucky i might see a few lines on the road....... nothing like ronnies car.

I took the car to nissan main stealer and they said there is nothing wrong with the 4wd, although i am running standard wheels and the tyres are 245/35/17 so i don't know if thats a problem..

Standard tyres should be 245 45 17. What make are they? What pressures do you run them at? How much tread do they have left? What power are you running?

Lower profile tyres will increase acceleration slightly. Maybe you're expecting miracles? There is no traction control.
