Engine: 1600cc 16valve VTS engine conversion, 4 branch manifold, full stainless magnex de-cat system. Ecosse cold forced air filter, battery re-located to boot.black diamond uprated clutch.

Suspension: lowered 90mm on bilstein shocks all round
powerflex poly bushes all round, front upper strut brace, rear chassis strengthening bar.

Brakes: Brembo 4 pot calipers with 307 hdi 283mm discs, standard rear discs and pads

Wheels: 15" fox R1 alloys painted matt black plenty of tread left on tyres

Exterior: dtm mirrors, colour coded door handles, matt black bonnet, gti spoiler, laguna splitter, black angel eyes

Interior: OMP ARS seats, Luke harnesses, sparco steering wheel, richbrook gear knob, colour coded dashboard, stripped out, omp 10 point roll cage in day glow orange, fire extinguisher, carbon fibre bits, lightweight modified dashboard,

ICE: Kenwood KDC-W808 head unit, pioneer 250w door speakers.

Good Points:
car has recently had new ball joints,
new clutch,
new droplinks,
new track rod ends,
new injectors,
ecu temp sender,
throttle position sensor,
new engine mounts all round.
re-built gearbox,
cars has regularly been serviced every 5000 miles. recent brake fluid, coolant, oil change.
engine runs smooth, with no rattles or noises engine has done 55k

Tax and tested till Aug08

Bad points:
remember this is a 10 year old car so does have a few trolley dings here and there and a few scratches on the front wings, small crack in rear spoiler.
few signs of rust on the tailgate, and drivers door.
has the usual gti/vts dodgy idle, could do with a new idle control valve
exhaust rattles every now and then, probably needs new rubber hangers.
oil temp gauge doesnt work (just needs a new sender)
fuel gauge is temperamental

this car is very quick around a track, and keeps up with bigger powered cars, and is more fun to boot.

in mint condition id expect to get around the 3.5k mark.

I'll get him to post up some pics of the engine bay tonight when he get's in from work.

He is looking for around £2500ono for it which isn't a bad price i don't think for the spec it has, and it is a genuine rallye, any reasonable offers will be considered.

the only reason he's selling it is cos he want to go Japanese (must have caught the bug from me and my brothers).

lol. I've been threatening to turn the g/f's 106 into a track weapon for a few years after we saw a pair of them at the 'Ring about three years ago.

She won't sell it to me though. If I had the cash right now, I'd buy this car.
