Built correctly a stock RB30 block can handle upto 600bhp. IIRC the only difference between them is there is a difference in oil feeds on the RB30ET

I have over 1000hp on a stock RB30 block, stock cradle, stock mains bolts, stock crank.
I've only ever found 2 types of block and we always go for the one with the oil return plug on the exhaust side of the block, 1/2 way along at the bottom.

Yeah, its really strange, when I let go the transbrake button my steering goes really light and the track goes instantly from black to blue

The other thing I have noticed, which may or may not be related, is that when the track turns black again I seem to be about 75 meters from where I started and I suddenly get the steering back Any ideas?

For the first couple of seconds, even if I turn the steering wheel, the car keeps going straight?

Its really got me stumped to mate, maybe there is a design fault in the rear end and the power it has is making it do funny things, I really have no clue, any suggestions/pointers gratefully received.

Take a look at this pic taken from the start line, now correct me if I'm wrong, but it "appears" that the front wheels are off the ground from this angle too I'm going to have to get some professional help with this one, THANK YOU for pointing this problem out to me!!! whaaha haaha hahaaha

Mmmmm
Might have to put my thinking cap on ....
Ok Its on.
You say it ends up 75 metres from where it starts ....
Some knid of 5th dimensional door or something ?
As you enter it , it transports you through time to a slightly different location >/??
Did you visit your deceased father on a sunny beach at all during the trip ?

Changing track colour is nothing unusual for Auckland , it changes from sunny to overcast all the time.

Also , are the photos from a reliable source, you know someone could have photoshopped them prior to posting them ....

But I guess 9.0 cant be all bad can it ?

Rob, it is obvious there is no problem with the car, it is just that the track is going downhill to quickly

Didn't visit my dad, last time I checked he's alive and kicking but I get the strange feeling that someone or something was in the back of the car cause while all this was happening I could swear someone grabbed my helmet and slammed it against the back of the seat spookie.

You might be onto something with the photoshop thing also as I also found a picture where I raced Joe, gave him a 1.5 second head start, I'm over 100 metres out, the wheels are off the ground a totally different amount to the other pix and there seems to be 2 wide black lines following my back tyres??, any ideas?? its got me really confused.

I REALLY hope we can get to the bottom of this, its starting to worry me now

9.0 is not bad at all I spose for its first couple of meetings and pretty low boost, no nos. I'm looking forward to getting out again with the new converter, lots of boost and the 250whp shot of nos, bring on the 8's

Definatley a bit of a curly one , Ill ring Joe see if he can shed some light on it .
As an interum measure just ignore it and hopefully it will go away.
Dont forget to put an on/off button for the nos as a failsafe .....
Mind you those black lines chasing the car could be an issue..................

Do you have a launch controller to bring boost up ?

I know what the issue is, and I have a solution. There's something totally wrong with the RB30 you built, causing the front of the car to levitate.

The best solution would be to swap engines with me; 100% guarantee that this will sort it out.
