Does anyone know what the differnces are between the pre 96 and after R33 Skyline GTS's Intercoolers are?

Im asking as id like to get an Apexi FMIC on my GTS, but on the websites that sell them they say only for After 96 Skyline GTS's

Anyone know why? If it is because of lack of space on the bumbers this is not a problem for me as there is a GTR front on mine

Ill be mailing APexi about this to so if I get a response ill post it up here

Ithink it has more to do with where the Apexi will front mount than the O/E intercooler.
