R34 GTR VSpec II
As some of you may know, I am building an R32 GTR for track work and will be taking the engine, gearbox, Motec ECU and rear diff from my R34.
I have owned the car since 2002 and given it has wanted for nothing in the interim. It is a second car and has had limited use as a road car. The car currently has the following specification. Standard Interior, standard glass, standard carbon bonnet and standard bootlid. New Tein track suspension – less than 1000 miles road use + TOTB last year. Carbon Doors AP racing 6 pot front brakes It currently sits on Rays TE37 18” with 265 tyres. Twin in tank fuel pumps. I will sell the car as it is, or can have it built to your specification. You can E-Mail me on hugh at sol.co.uk or reply here. Cheers Hugh ![]() |

Some more info
The car is MOT'd and taxed and is HPI clear with no accident history. I will be taking the propshaft with me, but I may still have a standard prop. I can supply it with a Power FC ECU. The original doors and spare front and rear bumpers as available as well. I have the original front brakes that can be re-fitted if required. It has a 150mm deep Trust intercooler fitted. I have just been let down by someone who said some months ago they would take it for £23k. I obviously want as much as I can get for it. I will sell it for the best offer over the next few weeks. I will be driving it down to RB Motorsport on the 16th of March to get the parts removed from the car. It currently has an R33 diff fitted, I can supply it with the diff that is currently in my R32. I also have an R33 5 speed box with an OS Giken gear kit in it that could be supplied with it if required. Cheers Hugh |

bernmc,
I am not sure what think needs clarifying, if you have a specific question I will be happy to answer it. If you read my post you will see that £23K is what I agreed with the previous buyer. I am open to offers on whatever spec you want e.g want the car with standard doors and brakes rather than the carbon doors and AP brakes. I will take some pictures of the car later today if I get a chance. Here are the wheels on my R32 which are also an option for sale with the R34 instead of the TE37’s Here are some pictures of the car from 6 months ago ![]() ![]() ![]() Cheers Hugh |

Thought it'd make an interesting project but I'd probably get nowhere near what you want for it. Got a bit confused by the 2nd post
but have read it all again.Lovely car - good luck with the sale. PS: As you appear to own a NUR as well, and there's an M5 lurking in the background, I've added you to my ever growing Official Jammy Bastard list ![]() |

bermac dont take this the wrong way,and dont want to distract from your car sale thread keith, but i have to agree with keith as to wot your point is because every r34gtr that comes up for sale ,you always seem to have to make a comment about ,thats over priced,or you can get one for x pounds somewere else,or thats priced right.if you buy a r34gtr than modify them as some of us have you may realise that a lot of the cars are to cheep, and if you pay £25,000.00for a r34gtr you will get what you pay for,if keith wants 23k for his car,it,s worth that money all day long,to some that may be alot of money but to others it,s fair money for what your buying

In the case of this thread, I was a bit puzzled about what was actually being offered... and it's clear I'm not the only one, if Sofa King's comment is anything to go buy ![]() I've still got half an eye on the market, and may well buy something if a bargain pops up. |

I advised that a price of £23K had previously been agreed for the car as it is minus engine, gearbox and rear diff, this is purely a guide that can be ignored if you wish. There was an advert for new NUR engines complete with turbos for £3500 a few months ago, I will check if they are still available, it they are I will offer the car with a NUR engine + R33 diffs and OS Giken 5 speed box as an option. I can only guess at the spec that might be right for the next owner, but I have very much enjoyed this car with R33 diffs. It's up to you, you can spec the car any way you want and see whether there is a price that we can agree on. The only items that are not up for discussion are the OS Giken engine, OS Giken sequential gearbox, carbon propshaft and OS Giken rear diff since I want them for my new track car. Trouble is good bits cost money and I have taken the view that there will not be a buyer that will pay the additional money it takes to build the high spec engine, gearbox, carbon prop and rear diff fitted to the car. Since these items are also exactly what I need for my new car, I am taking them with me. Cheers Hugh |

One of the options in front of me is to put the car back to standard engine, 6 speed gearbox and R34 diffs.
If this spec would suit any of the interested parties, please make contact to discuss. Cheers Hugh |
