UK specs and brochures

Hi All,

From speaking to middlehurst the other day, everyone that has put a deposit downs details has now been passed on to Nissan UK's, as orders need to be confirmed by april 2nd (as mentioned on here before)

Do we think that Nissan will be quite quick off the mark in sending out full brochures and spec list after official launch on the 6th ?

Also what and why is one of the colour options soo much more expensive (at least in Japan)

cheers

Michael

re: paint - I assume you mean Ultimate Metal silver ?
It's hand polished twice during the painting process (which the others aren't).
Not sure it's worth it but it looks more like metal than paint.

I'm guessing it would also be a pain to touch up if needed?

Used to have a CSL and found BMW had no process for getting rid of chips to the cf roof!

Looking at all the colours on here:
All Colors - NAGTROC - The Nissan GT-R Owners Club

quite like "Dark Metal Gray", not sure that "Ultimate Metal Silver" is worth a premium

cheers

I doubt that Nissan GB will be on the ball. I registered interest with my local Nissan dealership in December who "assured me" that one of the dealerships in their chain and Nissan would contact me directly regarding the car.

Called the dealer today to find out what's going on given that i have had ZERO contact from either them on Nissan GB to be told that they had received an email on Friday saying that they weren't allowed to take deposits. Took a bit of questioning to find out that what he actually meant was that their group wasn't getting any cars!

I've also heard that Nissan Europe had neglected to order any cars for the Geneva launch !

I heard that, and that it had to be borrowed from a well known dealer

Which I guess means we will not see a euro spec car european launch in geneva!!!!!

I can just imagine the pre show run down for geneva

- book stand at geneva: check
- euro spec car on route to geneva : doh

The US managed to get a correct spec for their launch

cheers

Doesn't exactly require a rocket scientist to work out that they would need a car for the European launch of their car now does it!

I mean, it's not been high profile or anything now has it ?

I love how there are no bad colours available.
