That same car would, by the time you shipped it to the UK, then paid the import duty and VAT then had the Euro 3 emissions modifications and testing carried out to allow it to be registered be more expensive than the car I am selling. Cheers Hugh |

so that's what a proper Nur looks like, while I've gone and simply stuck the badge on my R32
:ironic, as this is a GT-R that would/should not be molested. It's hard for me to hold the thoughts of "Skyline" and "Don't Tune, it's collectible" in my brain at the same time. I guess that doesn't make me a good candidate for such a car. I've modified nearly all of my guitars, some of which are very rare and the modifications have offended serious guitar collectors. Only my rarest guitar remains untouched, due to collectability (and guitar collectors seem to take originality very seriously), and even then, only due to EXTREME pressure from the guitar collecting community. What can I say? I like to tweak and modify ![]() |

has covered 12,500 miles. I've had it since 7,500 miles on it. It is technically an import, as original owner placed order with factory and picked it up from there as well. But it was built RHD and is not a converted LHD. Under warranty until March 09 (bloody VW and their 2 year maximum warranties!) as it was registered in UK in March 07. I have hand washed it every week since ownership too, so its been looked after. Hard to place a value on it in this market. Its quite high spec, so id like to say £19-20k Last edited by SpiritualBeggar; 12th September 2008 at 09:40 PM. |

By High-spec, i mean as in factory options (like the heated recaro leather seats). It was a £28k car from new.
There is a little rim mark on the front left around the outside of the rim. Approx 2cm long but not very noticeable. However, know a guy who can give me good deal on wheel refurb, so that will be done once i have been paid this month. The mark was there when I bought it, so Ive been meaning to get this done myself anyway, so that mark will not be there by the time any deal would be made. All other wheels are spotless, and have been cleaned by hand by me using wheel cleaner and alloy protector (i treat my cars well! forced habit thanks to my old man). No stone chips on the car. I have been polishing it fortnightly. Interior has been kept clean by vacuum each time I've washed it. I have had the stock headunit replaced with an Alpine IVA-W505R double-din headunit with Ipod connection. I have not included that in value of car as I was going to have this taken out. However, i can leave it in for an slight increase in value. The best thing to do, I'll take a load of pics, and PM them to you so you can see what it looks like. What mods hs the Nur had done? I, ideally, want a stock car, or a car as close to stock as possible (I plan to use as everyday car, since i dont do many miles a year at all), so i need reliability also. What problems have you had with it, if any? |
