id much rather have 800bhp+ capability than be restricted at 650bhp+, there are enough gears to always be in the powerband with the Kai.

powerband - the kai will be 5k to redline, and the t04z 4.5k to redline.
it will also make more HP for the boost pressure you run at.

The kai is recommended over the kai BB, as various sources [including HKS i have read] reccomend that the Kai BB is only used at max of 1.9bar, but the Kai is used at 2.3bar+....

Yeah very true, due to the bearing set up. Although the Ball Bearing turbo spools up a bit quicker (about 300 rpm) it is not as strong as a sleeve bearing set up found in the KAI.

On the RB30, I would say without doubt that you would become bored very quickly with the T04.
